The more I think of it, Ariel in the Little Mermaid should be Black, and should have been Black the whole time. If you ever factor in how many Black people were thrown overboard in the Atlantic Ocean (which includes the Caribbean, by the way ) during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, it actually makes more sense that Ariel is Black. This shouldn’t even be a debate.
