George, you have eloquently summed up my thoughts on the boost. It’s true, maybe it was exciting in the beginning, but as you said, it doesn’t foster true connection which to me is most important in this community of writers.

I like being boosted, however, I’ve never written anything just for the boost. I write to hopefully resonate with others. That’s my reward and inspiration to continue. Great post, mate.
