Great insights Carmelitta! I know I haven't taken full advantage of the platform. I stumbled upon Medium quite by accident. Although I am enjoying some small sucesses, I'm not a Social Media fan and have not delved into the cross promotional aspect, so I would have to say I fall into the category of having fun within a lovely writing community and seeing where things go.

One of my stories was chosen and published in a Chicken Soup for the Soul series based on a couple of writers here suggesting I submit it to the publication---certainly the most exciting thing that has happened to me since I began this writing journey! 🤗
