I think boredom is a lack of gratitude. We all fall short in our appreciation of the moment and the gift of seeing another day.

Activities do not cure boredom, they're merely a distraction. We must transform out thought patterns to focus on the gifts we've been given to move humanity forward. When we don't know ourselves on a soul level, we can't see the forest for the trees. 😉
