I think you've done quite well building a following, but Medium can't be the only source of income when you're pursuing writing full time.

I guess the best scenario would be to take your current audience to addiitonal platforms outside of Medium. Even the boost isn't the ultimate guarantee of more moolah that will make a huge difference.
