I was 20K words into a memoir a few years ago and although I totally agree with you that everyone should tell their story, somehow I convinced myself it wasn't interesting enough even though I was encouraged by a few writing partners. All the memoirs today seem to be written in the aftermath of a tragedy.

I'm encouraged to pick it up again if for no other reason than to leave a written account of my life story for my children. Thank you for the inspiration.
