Interesting and provocative, George. Thank you for sharing a different angle I hadn't considered.

I've always thought the concept of mindfulness is not to focus on all the chatter in our heads, instead to teach ourselves to learn they are only thoughts, not necessarily reality. To remain in the present by being fully engaged in whatever we are doing at any given moment. Meditation for me is to let all thoughts pass through to arrive at the stillness of being. But everyone is different, so there's that. 😉
