It's true, you can't choose your family, but you can choose how you want/need to be loved and if your natural born family is unavailable in the way in which you need them to show up, it's perfectly natural and manadatory for your growth to seek those who are aligned with your path. Sharing blood is not a prerequisite to reach your highest potential within a preordained family, but sometimes those who share your blood provide the impetus needed the most to move you forward toward your personal destiny.
