I’ve always been conflicted about takeaways and have stayed away from proclaiming one in my posts. I feel I didn’t do my job as a writer if the takeaway isn’t clear from the writing without a summary or bullet points at the end. ✍🏽

Is it not a bit of an insult to have to tell the reader what you’ve already told them? I’m aware this is a journalistic device. I like leaving the reader to ponder their own takeaway. But, that’s just me.🤷🏽‍♀️
