On a more serious note, if this is indeed the case, then Medium is certainly a mirror of the larger population. It's challenging to figure out what exactly makes Medium tick.

There seems to always be a shift in the current here. From one day to the next, no one is quite sure of the sweet spot for the "Boost" formula. Writers are perpetually scrambling for understanding. I never know if it's purposeful or not.
