Such a lovely tribute to Joni and an era romanticized for the right reasons espousing love for all humanity, equality, peace, and good will.

You're in the same generation as my hubby. We're a bit shy of 10 years apart so I didn't experience those years through the filter of the Woodstock generation.

Of course, neither did our people as a whole although the struggle certainly intersected. I love the way your experience intertwined with the lyrics breathing life into the times and how we should embrace these sentiments now. I agree wholeheartedly. If only the folks who govern the people worked toward the same.

BTW, not in my wildest imagination would I have envisioned you as a banker. 😁 Glad you dodged that bullet or we wouldn't be hearing of all your wonderful adventures.

Waiting on the world to change.

Brava Ms. R., excellent treatment of "Then and Now" ... a sense of harmony and community we should bring back.💛💛💛
