This is so beautiful and touching. The long lens of time changes ho we see everything.

So we sit here, the four of us, in our assigned seats at this too-large table, sharing meals that taste of both memory and farewell. Together, we’re learning that ordinary moments become precious not when we try to make them special, but when we finally see how special they’ve been all along.
