This is so inspirational especially since you told us in an earlier post, “no one wants to read your memoir and the trend is dead.” I realize and appreciate there are exceptions to the rule.

I’ve always thought if there’s no element of tragedy or celebrity in a memoir, it was futile to write. And, it’s noteworthy a few of these authors had previous experience or network in the writing world.

Memoirs resonate with folks for different reasons and a lot of it depends on who the target audience is. Traditional publishing still has a long way to go in terms of diversity. It’s still very much about what will sell as in any industry. I appreciate your tips here.
